Inspired from truss beams used in building roofs. Truss derives from the old French word ‘trousse’ that means a collection of things bound together. The central support allows lots of weight to be loaded above it, and struts running off create further stability, a sense of space, and nod to architecture that spans back to the Medieval times.
We think this just about sums up the Union Base Table for us, beautifully crafted and 'as strong as houses.
